An AI Alternative to help parties frame their Dispute to reach a faster Resolution.

Every deadline docketed. Every submission complete. Every award by a human.

Each party works in its own private workspace with AI drafting support: parties tell their story, counsel drafts the statements and discovery, clients answer questions for review. The arbitrator manages each arbitration in one unified dashboard and makes the final decision.

Built for compulsory arbitration programs and private arbitration alike. Deadlines are calculated under the procedural rules of the relevant jurisdiction or the rules agreed upon by the parties and the arbitrator.

What it does

One record for the whole arbitration.

SwiftGavel gives the arbitrator or panel a unified dashboard and each party its own private workspace. Statements of claim and defense, evidence, discovery, procedural deadlines and hearings live in one record, and every date syncs to each participant's calendar.

Phases. Five phases, from the statements of claim and defense to the award. Everyone sees where the case stands.

What SwiftGavel takes off the desk

Why it exists

The paperwork was the case.

Arbitration, whether compulsory or contractual, court-annexed or private, runs on appointed neutrals, short deadlines, and parties who often appear pro se with no legal counsel. Between the demand or statement of claim and the final award, the work is done by hand: calculating deadlines, chasing document production, serving notices, and maintaining the docket. Non-lawyers especially struggle with the procedural requirements and the unfamiliar language. One of our founding attorneys runs a firm where six people do nothing but docket deadlines.

One case recordEvery step logged

SwiftGavel takes that work off the arbitrator, the case administrator and the parties, and leaves the two things that should stay human: the storytelling (how each side tells its case) and the decision.

  • Nobody counts daysDeadlines are calculated exactly under the procedural rules of the relevant jurisdiction or the rules agreed upon by the parties and the arbitrator, with no manual counting and no missed dates.
  • Nobody keeps a docketDeadlines and hearings appear in the calendars people already use, and update themselves when a date moves.
  • Nobody needs an account to answerA self-represented party files from an emailed link. Firms sign in and share the case with their staff.
  • Nobody rebuilds the recordEvery action, notice and answer is logged as it happens. When the case closes, the record is final.

How a case runs

Five phases. The arbitrator decides at every one.

Both parties are kept blind to each other until the rebuttal step. The arbitrator sees everything, and nothing goes to a party without their say.

Tell your side once, and know exactly what happens next.

Most arbitrations include at least one party without a lawyer. Arbitration can feel opaque: unfamiliar jargon, hidden procedural rules, unclear deadlines. Whether you have counsel or are going it alone, SwiftGavel de-mystifies the process and guides you through every step.

Jargon, translatedTap a card to see the legal term.
  1. Your workspace is ready

Your private workspace on whatever device you have, and clear language walks you through every step.

  2. Say it on video, guided

When it is time for your video statement, SwiftGavel shows you one question at a time, in plain language. You press next when you are ready.

  3. No missed steps

A numbered checklist shows what is done and what is left, so you know you’ve told your whole story.

  4. Plain questions, every one answered

The arbitrator asks one clear question at a time, in plain language. You answer, or ask for help if you’re stuck. No surprises, no second round of chasing.

For arbitrators and panels

Unified dashboard for all your cases.

See every arbitration you’re managing in one place: statements of claim and defense, discovery disputes, pending document production, hearing schedules, and status. Drill into any case to manage discovery, handle disputes, hold hearings, or write your award.

Whether you’re court-appointed or privately retained, the administrative burden is real: counting days, chasing filings, drafting notices, organizing the record. SwiftGavel eliminates that work so you can focus on the actual case and the decision.

  • Manage discovery and disputes. When parties disagree on document production or discovery scope, the dispute appears in your dashboard. You resolve it in one place without chasing emails. Once discovery is complete, you close the record.

  • Questions you curate. SwiftGavel drafts evidence requests, follow-up questions and the parties’ proposed cross-examination. You edit, add or drop each one. Nothing reaches a party without you. Your case staff or co-arbitrators can see the drafts, but only you approve what’s sent.

    Only SwiftGavel
  • Two scenarios, for your eyes only. Before you write, SwiftGavel drafts an advisory award for each side prevailing so you can test your reasoning against both. Parties never see them, and nothing is ever predicted for them.

    Only SwiftGavel
  • The award is yours. The administration is not. You write the award. SwiftGavel formats it with the correct caption for the forum, your signature, and filing-ready certification, then notifies both sides and archives the complete case record.

  • Watch the hearing on your schedule. Each party’s video statement comes with the list of questions they answered; jump to any answer.

For law firms, insurers, and their teams

Every case on one dashboard, and on everyone’s calendar.

All your SwiftGavel arbitrations can be viewed and managed in one unified dashboard. See every deadline in every arbitration in a unified calendar, synced to most devices and online calendars. Delegate to paralegals, junior attorneys, clients, and staff: everyone assigned to the case works in the same workspace.

For court programs, institutions, and case administrators

Let appointed arbitrators decide cases, not administer them.

Court-annexed and institutionally administered arbitration both run on the same clocks kept by hand: appointment of the neutral, a hearing within the program’s target window, and an award drafted afterward. Cases slip, awards arrive in every format, and administrators cannot see where a matter stands.

  • Assign to your roster, watch every case. Administrators assign and reassign cases from their directory of arbitrators. Each arbitrator and their team can access all their cases from one unified dashboard, managing discovery, document production, scheduling hearings, and writing final awards.

  • Hearings on video, from the case. The arbitrator schedules a video hearing from the case screen. Both sides get the join link by email, in the case and on the calendar. Reschedules follow.

  • A record that does not change. Every action is logged with who did it and on which side. Once a case closes, the record is read-only, for good, and the award arrives in one format.

  • Parties pay the platform directly. A flat fee per side, paid in the case. Nothing runs through the court’s budget or procurement.

How it is different

Four things SwiftGavel is not.

Online arbitration tools tend to be one of three things: a negotiation widget, a documents-only pipeline that drafts the award for a signature, or a hearing room with video. SwiftGavel is the whole case, with a person deciding at every step.

  1. 01

    NotNot a negotiation widget.

SwiftGavel runs the whole arbitration, from the first link to the filed award, not a settlement calculator bolted onto email.

  2. 02

NotNot an award written by software with a signature on it.

Some services now draft the award and have a person sign off. SwiftGavel stops every draft at the arbitrator: the evidence requests, the questions, the scenarios and the award. Parties are never told what the software thinks.

  3. 03

    NotNot a chatbot.

Parties are never asked to talk to software. They answer specific questions from the tribunal, in writing or on video, at their own pace.

  4. 04

    NotNot a generic case manager.

It adapts to the procedural rules of any jurisdiction or agreed-upon arbitration rules, calculates deadlines correctly every time, formats the award for the appropriate forum, and keeps the two sides blind until rebuttal.

The whole case, with a person deciding at every step.

Trust

Built to be trusted with a case record.

Courts and parties do not need another place to be careful. These are the rules SwiftGavel keeps on its own.

  • The arbitrator decides.SwiftGavel’s analysis is marked advisory and never reaches a party. Every award is written by a person.
  • Authorised on the server, every time. Each action is checked on the server and written to an audit trail with who did it, and on which side.
  • Blind until rebuttal, by design and by test.A party’s view is built on the server with the other side removed. Nothing is merely hidden on screen.
  • Calendar links carry dates, never the dispute.Feeds contain titles and dates only. The link is shown once and stored only as a hash; it can be revoked at any time.
  • Closed cases stay closed.Once an award or settlement closes a case, its record is read-only, permanently.
  • Built to the AAA-ICDR guidance on arbitrators’ use of AI tools.Independent decision-making is preserved, the parties are told what SwiftGavel did, and every summary is confirmed by the party it describes before anyone relies on it.
“What is going to impress them is not the technology. It is that we thought through the hitches in the legal process and in getting people to trust it.”
